Zan Hoffman and his collaborator Hubert Heathertoes are coming back with their new output. The long title in Lithuanian which roughly translates into The Travelogue That Shouldn't Have Been, or How I Made So Many Observations That I've Stopped, or Kelionių žurnalas for short is another stop on the never ending introspective odyssey that both of the collaborators are committed to by exchanging their ideas, experiences, thoughts. With over 40+ (Zan) and 20+ experience in hometaping and experimental as well as general art activity (design, photography, fashion, dance and beyond) both of them casually rebrand themselves and reinvent themselves in a plunderphonic manner of chaos magick while not treating themselves way too seriously.
Through the sonic exploration of field recorded landscape of European reality as well as the conscious process of dismantling both rhythm and texture of sound, they avoid the self-deception of façade that every art activity in the post-modern context creates. Instead, they offer an invitation to actively listen and jump to any conclusions.
